The bright sun shone on Nani’s face in the early morning. It was like an alarm clock for her, as the window was turned in such a way that the sun would always wake her up. She got up and stretched, rolling out of her bed and staring out onto the open wilderness that was right outside her window. It was a pleasure to see, and reinvigorated her from her long rest. She got up, put on some clothing, and went to go make breakfast for her and Lilo.
Lilo was Nani’s youngest sister, but without parents to help them, Nani has taken up the role as provider for the family. However, Nani never had any experience with raising children, so raising Lilo would be a bit easier said than actually done.
